Payment Processing
A flat 2.19% on card-present transactions, which means tap, dip, or swipe at the counter, with no per-transaction fee. Card-not-present transactions such as keyed-in and online payment processing are 2.79%. That is the lowest credit card processing rate published by any POS in the U.S.
Correct. Most processors charge a percentage plus a fixed fee, commonly around 10 cents per swipe. Simple charges the percentage only. On a $10 sale, a 10 cent fee is an additional 1% on top of the advertised rate.
