Justin Dabish is the founder of Simple. He has spent more than a decade building technology for retailers and service businesses, and works directly in merchant services, which is where Simple's flat 2.19% card-present rate came from. He built Simple after watching too many small businesses sign processing agreements they could not read and could not leave. His work covers the parts of payments most owners never see: interchange, assessments, processor markup, and the contract terms that quietly decide what a business actually pays each month. He writes the pricing and processing coverage on this site, reviews every rate comparison before it publishes, and updates those pages when a provider changes its published rates.
